By using Pictures of Dog, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not upload or use the service.
Who may use the service
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live requires a higher age to consent to online services, you must meet that age or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Your uploads
You keep ownership of photos you upload. You confirm that you created the photo or have all permission needed to publish it, and that publication does not violate copyright, privacy, publicity, animal welfare, or other rights.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, resize, re-encode, screen, display, distribute, and promote the photo only for operating and presenting Pictures of Dog and its related project links. This license ends when the photo is deleted. Live and archived media objects are removed immediately; an earlier copy may remain only in restricted encrypted disaster-recovery backups for up to 90 days. Separate copyright, takedown, or other legal records may be retained as required to resolve or document a claim.
Acceptable use
Follow the community guidelines. Do not upload unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person, probe or disrupt the service, evade rate limits, automate reactions, scrape at a harmful volume, inject code, or use the wall to train a facial-recognition system.
Moderation and availability
We may reject, limit, hide, or remove content and activity when necessary to protect people, animals, rights holders, or the service. Rejected uploads remain private and are permanently erased within 30 days, except that a separate copyright, takedown, or legal record may be retained when necessary. We are not required to publish an upload or preserve a particular photo, ranking, like count, share count, or download. Features may change or stop without advance notice.
Third-party services
Project links, shared links, security checks, and advertisements may lead to or use third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their products. We do not control or endorse third-party content solely because it appears in a link or advertisement.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or that every upload is accurate, safe, or authorized. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months or USD $100. You are responsible for claims resulting from an upload or use that violates these terms or another person’s rights.
