- Animal cruelty, injury, fighting, sexual content, or graphic material
- Photos copied from another person, publication, or social account
- Visible phone numbers, addresses, identification, or private records
- Advertising, watermarks, QR codes, promotional text, or spam
- Synthetic images presented as a real animal photograph
- Repeated uploads or attempts to manipulate likes and shares
How moderation works
Uploads pass file safety, duplicate, species, and content checks before publication. Confident safe matches publish automatically. Uncertain results wait for review, while confirmed unsafe, wrong-species, duplicate, or invalid files are rejected. A reviewer may approve, reject, or remove a photo. These controls protect the wall; they are not a promise that every published photo is rights-cleared.
Community guidelines
Dog photos raise their own review questions. Play and conflict look alike once the motion is frozen, so we read the whole picture — posture, tail, other animals in frame — before publishing.
Play, not conflict
Two dogs wrestling is welcome. Staged fights, bait animals, prong and shock collars presented approvingly, or a dog straining against a choke hold are not, and they are rejected on sight.
Working dogs and their gear
Assistance, herding and search dogs are welcome at work. A muzzle on its own is not a problem; what gets rejected is equipment meant to hurt, and framing that presents a working dog as a threat.
Outdoors means other people
Street and park photos catch strangers, plates, house numbers and school gates. Crop or reframe before uploading, because we cannot un-publish what has already been copied.
Report a concern
Removal and safety reports receive an initial review within 24 hours. Complex requests may need more information; we send the next steps to the email provided.
Use the review link on any photo or visit the copyright and removal form. Include the exact photo URL and enough information for us to evaluate the request.
